Soak up the Sun and Enjoy five-star al fresco dining at the InterContinental Dublin Garden Terrace this Summer

-New Garden & Veranda Terrace Menu-

As summer approaches and the weather continues to improve why not escape to the stunning Garden Terrace & Veranda at the five-star InterContinental Dublin in leafy Ballsbridge to enjoy al fresco dining at its most luxurious. The Garden Terrace & Veranda will reopen on Thursday May 12th with a delicious new menu developed by Executive Chef Alberto Rossi and his team.

Nestling in the courtyard of the Hotel, the Garden Terrace and covered-in Veranda is an oasis of calm, away from the hustle and bustle of life, and surrounded by beautiful trees, plants and fountain, tended to by the in-house gardener Nick. To get you into the summer mood, Spanish guitarist Juan will perform on the Terrace on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer months.

The new Summer Garden Terrace & Veranda menu includes a selection of specially curated Summer Bites including Tomato Bruschetta; Toasted Baguette, Puntarelle salad, Anchovies and Orange zest;  Seabass Carpaccio (with Courgette, Capers, Citrus fruit, & rocket); Tomato and Burrata (Warmed Ox Hart tomatoes, Burrata, Smoked Guanciale, Grilled Broccolini, Basil); Vitello Tonnato (Poached Veal, Tuna sauce, Capers and Anchovies); and the refreshingly delicious Summer Terrace Salad (Shaved Fennel, Radicchio, Orange Segments, Iceberg Salad, Chickpeas, Avocado, Spring Onions, Cherry Tomatoes, Oregano and Lemon Dressing).

Bigger bites include the popular InterContinental Seafood Platter with Lobster, Crab salad, Prawn Cocktail, Smoked Salmon, Oysters and you can also add Caviar (50gr); Grilled Market Fish of the Day and Grilled 6oz Fillet of Beef (Duck fat poached Potato, Grilled Asparagus, Watercress Salad) and a freshly made Pasta of the Day.

There are also two new vegan dishes on the menu- Braised Cauliflower (Caramelised Cauliflower, Spring Onions, Celeriac, Cashew Ricotta) and Ranjo’s Aloo Gobi created by Chef Ranjeev Kumar at the Hotel (Cauliflower, Potatoes, Tomatoes, served with in-house made Chapati)

A selection of summery sweet treats from the Hotel’s pastry Chef Orna Larkin includes Rhubarb and Custard Tart and in-house made Sicilian Cannoli.

Enjoy a glass of Perrier Jouet Champagne or a chilled Chablis, a cool beer or one of the Hotel’s signature cocktails created by the hotel’s expert mixologists while enjoying the best of five-star service al fresco.
