last but not least, my family ate one of the most special meals of all time during this time at home. My grandmother Sue Sue, who unexpectedly passed away in February, is the ultimate chef and has been a cooking role model to me for as long as I can remember. One of the MANY things she is famous for is her Gourmet-To-Go, delicious home cooked meals for people to take home and put in the oven. My family had one last Sue Sue meal in the freezer, a chicken pot pie. It was amazing, and eating it brought me to tears. Although quarantine and the pandemic have been hard on so many people, I have valued and loved the time I have spent at home cooking with my family.
