Top 10 Gluten Free Products to Buy at Costco

When going gluten free, whether for health reasons or by choice, one of the hardest things is risking expensive purchases and not knowing if you will like it or not! So I am sharing some of my favorite Costco gluten free products that are so worth the money. If you have eaten the gluten free diet, whether by choice or by diagnosis, you have probably realized two things: 1. You pretty much have to cook everything, or 2. Buy pre-made gluten free products that are incredibly expensive. For me I have a slight gluten intolerance that has led me to...

Hidden Veg Mac & Cheese!

Ive been meaning to write out this very simple recipe for so long, and tonight I figured I may as well do it now as its what Im making for dinner! I honestly hate scrolling through online recipes where the author writes their life story, so Ill keep this short! This recipe is a great alternative to a traditional cheese sauce, its great if youre calorie conscious, if youre cooking for a fussy child, or if you are trying to accommodate allergies whilst being able to indulge in favourites! Easy-to-MakeCauliflower and Bell Pepper (Capsicum) Curry

I spend some days doing crochet, watching tutorials, or learning new crafts the whole time only to realise that its already evening and I am late to start cooking. On such days, I would like to make curries that could be made in half an hour or so. You get creative and confident to try a few things once you have gained enough experience cooking. My mom used to make sambar out of leftover rasam she made in the morning when some unexpected guests arrive for dinner unannounced. But, the best part is that it used to taste delicious and...

September & October Grocery Shopping Totals

September was a good month for grocery shopping. There were lots of good deals, plus Kroger doubled fuel points if you shopped on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I did almost all of my Kroger shopping on these days for that reason. After coupons and surveys, I managed to accumulate $0.80 off a gallon in fuel rewards! Andy and I both filled up at the same time to take full advantage of the full 35 gallons. He pulls on one side of the pump and I pull on the other, so we can pump gas until weve reached the limit. That...

Buffalo Cauliflower

Buffalo Cauliflower

So, if Im honest here, Inever thought I would be sharing a recipe for cauliflower because quite frankly, the stuff stinks. Its terrible eating it raw (even still to me). I have however, found a great way to cook it that makes it quite yummy and my husband always grabs the bowl and eats it up, too. (To be fair, hes a good eater and has a wonderful food palette.) The original recipe for this is from Nutrisystem (who stole borrowed it from Skinnytaste). So if you feel like following it down here, heres an easy one, too. However, Ive...
